Woman, two boys die in St. Francois County crash

JEFFERSON CITY — Three persons died in a traffic crash on Route OO in St. Francois County Christmas Eve.

 

According to the accident report prepared by Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper C. J. Walker and Sergeant T. Pulley a 28-year-old Valles Mines woman was the driver and two boys aged four and six were passengers when their 2004 Ford F-150 ran off the left side of the pavement and struck a tree.

 

She was pronounced at the scene.

 

The six-year-old was pronounced at Parkland Health Center-Farmington and the four-year-old was pronounced at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

 

The patrol report says the driver and both passengers were buckled up.

 

The crash happened about 7:28 p.m. south of Route F.

 

The F-150 was a total loss and was removed by Marlers Towing.

 

According to the funeral notice, the six year old was a first grader at Ste. Genevieve R-II,.
