Missouri gasoline prices rose more than a dime a gallon last week

BOSTON, Mass. – Average gasoline prices in Missouri rose 10.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.77/g Monday, Dec. 23, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,940 stations in Missouri. Prices in Missouri are 3.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 5.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Missouri was priced at $2.29/g Sunday, Dec. 22 while the most expensive was $3.49/g, a difference of $1.20/g. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.29/g while the highest was $3.49/g, a difference of $1.20/g.

 

The national average price of gasoline has risen 3.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.01/g by Dec. 23. The national average is down 2.6 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 9.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

 

The national average price of diesel has increased 0.6 cents in the last week and stands at $3.478 per gallon.
