January Women’s Connection theme-‘UpliftingThe Homeless’

FARMINGTON – The January 14 Women’s Connection Brunch will be held at the Farmington Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall at 403 W. Columbia St. from 9:15-11 a.m.

 

Debra Carter, Manager of the Uplift Shelter in Farmington will be our Special Feature and will share how breakfast items such as granola bars, pop tarts, coffee,tea, sugar, creamer, drink mixes like-lemonade, fruit punch and other items like food, handle gloves, cleaning supplies and especially 33 and 55 gal. trash bags are so needed.  Any of these Items would be a welcomed donation for the ladies attending to bring to the meeting because they are needed so badly!

 

Leslie Miner, our Guest Speaker, is a wife , mother and grandmother. But above all, she says she is a child of God who has blessed her beyond measure and who has given her the strength to get through many tough obstacles. In her presentation, “Faith in Unforeseen Circumstances,” she will share how God gave her the faith when she didn’t know what was ahead, but her Heavenly Father did!
