JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two separate traffic crashes on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County, one late Wednesday morning and the second late Wednesday night.
Patrol Trooper K. L. Goforth investigated the first crash which happened about 10:55 a.m. west of Flieg Road.
His report states a 30-year-old Bonne Terre woman was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Trooper Goforth reports a 2022 Chevy Malibu driven by the woman traveled off the right side of the roadway, went down an embankment before striking an embankment. It then crossed over a driveway went down another embankment and struck a culvert coming to rest facing east.
He stated the woman was buckled up.
The Malibu received moderate damage and was taken by Buckley’s Towing.
The crash happened west of Flieg Road.
The second traffic crash was investigated by Trooper J.S. Collier who reported a 50-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
Trooper Collier states in his report the man was the driver of a westbound 1999 Jeep Wrangler which began to skid and traveled off the left side of the roadway, where it struck a guardrail and overturned.
The trooper says the man was unrestrained.
The Jeep had moderate damage and was towed by Ives Towing.
The crash happened about 11:10 p.m. east of Schweiss Road.
The Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s office assisted at the crash scene.
