A funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 for 82-year-old Reta P. Lundstrom of Frohna, Mo. who passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 with her family.
She was born May 6, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo. to Benjamin W. and Eva G. (Logsdon) Rhyne who both preceded her in death.
Reta married Gerald E. Fadler, Ralph Clements, and Dennis Lundstrom, all preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Roger Fadler of Friedheim, Mo., and John (Tina) Fadler of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter: Carla (Paul) Roth of Frohna, Mo.; a step-daughter: Mary Spence of Wisconsin; 21 grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; and one sister, Yvonne Carrigan of Tennessee.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Marcella Byram; two brothers: Harley Rhyne and Orville Rhyne; three half-brothers, Leroy Jones, Cecil Jones, Lester Jones, and a grandson Trevor Gross.
Reta worked at the shoe factory and later was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Reta loved to sew quilts and was a well experienced seamstress.
She volunteered at the Crisis Center, the Perry County Memorial Hospital, and the Perry County History Museum.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 20, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Rev. Ben Chapman officiating.
Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Farrar, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be given to Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
