Perry County Military History Museum donates flags, popcorn machine, rocking chairs to Marian Cliff Manor

PERRYVILLE – One of the Perry County Military History Museum’s Christmas projects for veterans was purchasing a large popcorn machine for the veterans of Marian Cliff Manor.

The requests of the 40 plus veterans at the residence was a popcorn machine and additional rocking chairs.

PCMHM was able to purchase the popcorn machine with supplies, a new American flag, a POW flag, and a rocking chair.

Through the generosity of members of our community and Thrivent, the museum was able to deliver three additional rocking chairs.

A special thank you to Mike and Martina Welker, Harlan and Lisa Hacker, and Dave and JoAnn Clements.

PCMHM also sends an annual donation to the USO at Lambert Field to aid active service men and women traveling home for the holidays.
