CHESTER – The following Chester Grade School students were honored Friday December 13, 2024, with a “HIVE” award.
“HIVE” awards are presented to students that are nominated by staff members for demonstrating one or more of four “Good Character Traits” including Respect, Responsibility, Safety, and Empathy.
For December 13, there were a total of 29 recipients that demonstrated the following traits: 11 for Respect, 11 for Responsibility, and seven for Empathy.

Each honoree received a certificate, his or name was announced over the CGS Public Address System, and each was awarded 1 PBIS Point.
