Blythe files for re-election to PCSD 32 board

PERRYVILLE – One of the incumbents whose term will expire in April 2025 has filed for re-election.

 

Dominic Blythe filed Thursday.

 

Filing opened Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, for two seats on the Board of Education at Perry County School District 32.

 

The second incumbent whose term expires in April is Richard Dix.

 

The General Municipal Election will be held April 8, 2025.

 

To file as a candidate for the Perry County School District 32 Board of Education, you must file a Declaration of Candidacy in person at the District’s Central Office located in the Old Senior High School at 400 Edwards St. (Military members serving outside the district and those with disabilities may file by alternate methods.)

 

Declarations of Candidacy are filed with Board Secretary Dorris Thieret during regular business hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Candidate filing ends Dec. 31, 2024. The district offices are closed for the holidays Dec. 24, 2024 – Jan. 2, 2025, so there will be no candidate filings on those dates, with the exception of Dec. 31, 2024 from 8 am to 5 pm.
