A funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 for 92-year-old Jeanette Mulholland of Apache Junction, Arizona who completed her journey of 92 years on November 29, 2024..
She was born March 7, 1932 to James and Nola Turner who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by four children: Robert “Bob” (Nancy) Brown of Cape Coral, FL, Kay Rader of Chester, IL, Tom Brown Ellis Grove, IL, Sherry Biermann Brown Apache Junction, AZ; seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Brown) Smith of Chester, IL, Tommy Alan Brown (Dusty) of Steeleville, IL, Russ (Elizabethe) Rader of Chester, IL, Adam Biermann (Lori) of Apache Junction, AZ, Angela (Trent) Vasquez of Chester, IL, Bracy (Linda) Biermann of Vicenza, Italy and Brandon (Beth) Brown of Chester, IL; great grandchildren: Jessica, Jordan, Taylor, Maelee, Pierce, Katelyn, Lucas, Kylee, Casey, Lauryn, Paige, Samara, Alina, Brady and Blake; and great-great grandchildren: Addie, Darcie, Kennedi, Maddie, Makenzley, Grace, Aspen, Liam, Eva, Milo, Koda, Breck and Brylee.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Don, Robert “Bob”, James “Doc” and Ralph Turner and five sisters: Mary Killman, Betty Turner, Barbara Gray, Helen Hill and Marlene Turner.
Jeanette had a happy life with her family and her husband, Melvin Mulholland. It was quite a journey from Chester, Illinois to Scottsdale, Arizona and then to Apache Junction, Arizona to build a new business, Mulholland Plumbing, Heating and Air Condition, and a new home with her husband.
They worked until they both retired and were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and traveling together.
Her daughter Sherry Brown and grandson Adam Biermann took on the task of taking care of Mel until he passed away from throat cancer on January 23, 2016. They both continued to care for Jeanette until she passed.
She enjoyed watching her great grandchildren visiting and watching them play. She enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casinos, playing cards and doing puzzles together. The last few years she loved picking up feathers and sweeping leaves and eating ice cream on her patio. She was a big part of our lives and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois.
A funeral service for 92-year-old Jeanette Mulholland of Apache Junction, Arizona
will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois. Pastor Dan Ahlenius will officiate.
Interment will be in the Ellis Grove City Cemetery in Ellis Grove, Illinois
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
