JEFFERSON CITY — A 56-year-old man from Eldorado, Illinois was hurt in a traffic crash on Route Z in Ste. Genevieve County Sunday afternoon.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper K. L. Goforth reports the man was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment of moderate injuries.
Trooper Goforth says the crash happened when the 2006 Dodge 1500 the man was driving east on Z ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert. The pick up then went airborne and struck the other side of the culvert.
Goforth said the man was buckled up.
The crash happened about 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
The Dodge was a total loss and was removed by Ste. Genevieve County Towing.
