STE. GENEVIEVE – Recently, Ste. Genevieve Middle School students stepped into the role of voters as part of a hands-on lesson in their history classes.
The mock election allowed students to experience every part of the voting process, from registering and providing identification to casting ballots and receiving their “I Voted” stickers.
Student poll workers helped guide their classmates through the experience, making the simulation both educational and engaging. The event wrapped up with the tabulation of votes. For many students, the highlight was proudly wearing their “I Voted” sticker, a small but meaningful token of their participation.
