French Village woman hurt in traffic crash

JEFFERSON CITY — A 29-year-old French Village woman received minor injuries in a traffic crash on Pawnee Drive in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J. S. Collier, in his accident report, stated the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.

Trooper Collier reports the woman was a passenger in a 2016 Nissan Titan driven by a 48-year-old French Village woman which failed to negotiate a curve, running off the right side of the roadway and overturning.

The crash happened about 11 p.m. west of Lake View Drive.

The patrol says neither woman was buckled up.

The Nissan had moderate damage and was towed by Marler’s Towing.
