Organizer Glenda Pulley reported, “(The Ste. Genevieve area) packed 1,260 shoeboxes, 53 more shoeboxes than last year

Ste. Genevieve is part of the Parkland team which also includes Bismarck, Farmington, Fredericktown, Ironton, Leadington, Centerville, Ste. Genevieve, Ozora, St. Mary and Bloomsdale.

The Parkland Team also broke the record it set last year with 14,993 shoeboxes.

Each box was packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items and becomes a tangible expression of God’s immense love for the child who receives it.

For many recipients, it is their first gift ever!

Delivered by local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.

The shoeboxes also include a personal note and photo—sometimes these are the child’s favorite things to receive!
