Football

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent  beat Crystal City 42-0 in the Class 1 State Tournament.

 

The Indians play Adrian Saturday for the state title.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle lost at Bowling Green 36-28 Saturday.

 

Girls Basketball

 

CHESTER – Chester High School Lady Jackets defeated the host team 52-44 Friday night in the Sparta Tournament Friday and then lost to Trico 54-45 in the tournament’s final game.

 

Red Bud won the tournament going 4-0. There were three teams tied for second place with 2-2 records: Chester, Sparta and Trico. Steeleville finished in fifth place going 0-4.

 

Chester had two players on the all-tournament team: Lexi Mott was the tournament’s most valuable player and Jessica Stumpe also made the team.

 

Chester plays at Johnston City tonight. JV will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the varsity to follow at 7:30 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent girls defeated Park Hills 56-33 in the St. Paul Shoot Out Saturday.

 

The Lady Indians play at Chester Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

 

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran girls play at Cape Central tonight at 7:30.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic girls play at Oak Ridge tonight 6.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville play at Woodland Tuesday at 6 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve opens regular season play in the Fountain City Classic in De Soto which begins Monday, December 2.

 

The Dragons have the second seed in the tournament and will open with a game against No. 7 seed Pacific in the De Soto Junior High School gym at 8:30 p.m.

 

Boys Basketball

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville hosts Kingston at 7 tonight.

 

CHESTER – Chester boys play at Anna Jonesboro Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays in the Fountain City Classic in De Soto which begins  December 2.

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays in the Crystal City Tournament Monday, December 2 through the sixth.

 

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran boys play in the Rolla Duke Herbert Tournament Dec. 2-6.

 

Wrestling

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School boys and girls host Park Hills Central at 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 4.
