Steven Robert Stahlheber, 58, of Carbondale, Illinois, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:39 am, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at his residence.
He was born to the late David R. and Ruby (nee Brant) Stahlheber on December 19, 1965 in Belleville, Illinois.
Steven had worked as a convenient store clerk and had previously worked for the railroad.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1764 in Chester. Steven was an avid sports fan. He loved watching his grandkids play their sports.
Steven was a United States Navy Veteran.
Survivors: Wife: Lorra Stahlheber; nine children: Soleil (Brian) Brunkhorst, Josh (Allie) Stahlheber, Taijah McBurney, Aaron (Michelle) McBurney, Sr., Sydney McBurney, Aziah McBurney (Cornelius, Sr.), Alec Stamm-Stahlheber. KaCee Stahlheber and Kodee Stahlheber, 18 Grandchildren: Katie (Justin), Alexis, Cayden, Hunter, Jonah, Gracie, Justice, Luca, Jasmine, Aaron Jr., Avion, Andre, Kataleya, Elijah, Rainne, Pashynn, Saraii and Cornelius Jr.; three Great Grandchildren: Romann, Paris and Ayzn; a brother: David Stahlheber, two Nephews: Daulton and Joey Stahlheber.
