Rose Mary Winschel, 85, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Mercy Southeast Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1939 in Perryville, MO to Wallace and Ella (Rahmoeller) Chappius.
Rose Mary and Elliott Winschel were married on June 7, 1958. He preceded her in death.
Rose Mary was a cafeteria worker. She also volunteered at the hospital and Miraculous Medal office. Rose Mary enjoyed flowers, hosting family holiday get togethers and going out to lunch with friends. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church, St. Ann Sodality and Western Catholic Union.
Survivors include two sons, Dwayne (Bonnie) Winschel of Scott City, MO, Kevin (Cheryl) Winschel of Biehle, MO; two daughters, Charlotte (Kevin) Robinson of Perryville, MO, Sharon (Sean) Unterreiner of Perryville, MO; grandchildren, Bret (Stephanie), Kaylie (Brian), Kelsey (Brett), Dalton, Kirsten, Augusta, and Trence; great-granddaughters, Kiley, Lyla, Caroline, DellaRae and Roseanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elliott Winschel; brother, John Chappius; and granddaughter, Stacie Lynn.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:20 am on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Monday, November 18, 2024 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle with Rev. Jim French officiating.
Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Maurus Cemetery.
