STE. GENEVIEVE – Joleigh Parker has been named the Elks Student of the Month for November from Ste. Genevieve High School.
Joleigh is the daughter of Kyla and Tyson Parker.
Joleigh’s scholastic honors include being in the Top 10 percent, being ranked third in her class, and earning the designation of summa cum laude.
Joleigh has also been involved in a number of clubs and organizations: National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council, National Art Honor Society (NAHS), SGHS Volleyball, SGHS Softball and Club Volleyball.
In volleyball, she has earned Academic All-State, MAAA All-Conference and 2nd Team All-District.
In softball, she has earned Academic All-State.
In her free time, Joleigh enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends, and taking vacations to the beach.
She is employed at The Artisan and the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center, where she works at the River Rapids Waterpark and is a referee.
Joleigh plans to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree on an academic and athletic scholarship at the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis to eventually become a pediatric pharmacist.
