Ste. Genevieve woman hurt in traffic crash

JEFFERSON CITY – A 71-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash  in Ste. Genevieve County Saturday morning.

 

Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J. Stombaugh reported the woman was taken to Parkland Health Center by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.

 

Trooper Stombaugh reported the crash happened when the westbound 2006 Pontiac Vibe the woman was driving west on Route EE failed to negotiate a curve to the right, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees. Stombaugh said the crash happened about 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of Spott Road and Wells Drive.

 

Stombaugh said the woman was buckled up.

 

The Vibe was a total loss and was removed by Buckley’s Towing.
