PERRYVILLE – Perryville defeated De Soto 4-0 to claim the JCAA Conference Championship.
It is their 12th championship in the last 13 years.
Treyton had all four goals.
Kade had three assists.
Andres had one assist.
Waylon had the clean sheet shut out.
The Pirates host Fredericktown October 21.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran fell to Jackson 3-0..
Volleyball:
STE. GENEVIEVE – SGHS Volleyball had an outstanding night in the gold bracket of the MAAA Conference Tournament!
The Dragons beat Potosi in two sets 25-17 and 25-17 in the semifinal and beat Valle 25-18 and 25-19 in the championship! The Dragons are season and tournament conference champions!
In other games: Valle defeated Farmington 25-18 and 27-25 in the semifinals. Farmington topped Potosi 25-20 and 25-18.
The Dragons will next play in the Class 3 State Tournament which begins October 31st.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent plays in the Class 2 District 2 tournament October 24th.
JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran beat Scott City 3-0.
The Crusaders play Portageville Tuesday.
