STE. GENEVIEVE – Youth Plein Air Awards were given on Sunday, September 29th, 2024.
Awards were presented to artists in three age groups, 4-8, 9-13 and14-18.
The event was held on Wednesday, September 9th and again on Saturday, September 14th..
Participants attended three local schools Valle Catholic, Ste Genevieve, St Agnes
and two home school students.
The Best of Show Award was presented to Makenzie Buchheit of Valle Catholic
In the 14-18 age group,
First place was Ella Kraenzle of Valle Catholic.
Zoey Holt of Bloomsdale received Second Place and home school student Faustina Blumenfeld received third place.
The 9-13 age group awards went to:
Anabelle Grass of Valle Catholic in first place,
Second place was presented to JoJo Holt of St Agnes, in Bloomsdale and
Third place was awarded to Kenzie Gegg of Valle Catholic.
Those in the 4-8 age group were:
First place was Conner Gegg of Valle Catholic,
Second Place was Jack Picou of Ste Genevieve Elementary and
third place award was Geneva Steiger of Valle Catholic.
