SIKESTON, Mo. – Jennie Johnson has been named Director of Finance & HR for Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
“I’m excited to carry forward the valuable work that the previous directors of finance have always done,” Johnson said. “The food bank’s mission is important to me, and I am honored to have a role in carrying it out.”
Johnson has been with the food bank for more than six years.
“In her time here, Jennie has served the food bank in a variety of roles in the finance and HR departments,” said Joey Keys, SEMO Food Bank’s chief executive officer. “She has a strong understanding of the organization, financials, and responsibilities of the job.”
Southeast Missouri Food Bank serves 80,000 individuals each month through a network of 140 partner agencies and other programs. The food bank’s 16-county service area has some of the highest rates of hunger in the state, with one in six neighbors and one in five children living in food insecure homes.
