PERRYVILLE – The Perryville High School varsity girls volleyball team defeated North County in straight sets last night: 25-14, 25-13 and 25-20.

PERRYVILLE – The Saxony-St. Vincent Co-Op Team beat Jefferson 12-2.

 

The Co-Op team plays host North County Friday.

JACKSON – The Saxony Lutheran tennis team defeated Notre Dame 8-1 last night.

Abby Haley and Maggie Hillin (SL) defeated Caroline Galati and Mary Tyler Cox (ND) 8-2.

Hannah Pruitt and Katya Rust (SL) defeated Eloisa West and Harper Raffety (ND) 8-5

Sadie Elmore and Emi Keller (SL) defeated Maddie McDowell and Anna Galati (ND) 8-3.

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s varsity girls golf team won at Farmington 207-235.

Ferris went to Linley Wehner for the fewest putts, 17.

 

Ste. Genevieve will be back in action today at home versus Cape Notre Dame, Jackson, and Valle.

 

CHESTER – The Chester boys took first place in the Regionals at Anna.

 

Sophomore Trevin Eggemeyer medaled and came in fourth with an 81.

 

 

 

Chester won the tournament with a 340.

 

Waltonville came in second at 347, followed by Campbell Hill (Trico) at 363, Steeleville 363, Zeigler Royalton 371, Junction (Gallatin County) 371, Vienna 372, Johnston City +101, Eldorado 388.

 

The Yellow Jackets travel to West Frankfort on Monday for the sectional tournament.

 

Cross Country

 

CHESTER – Chester hosts the Chester Invitational today.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville, St. Vincent, Valle and Ste. Genevieve run at the Notre Dame meet Saturday at 10 a.m.
