Ste. Genevieve man suffers minor injuries in Route 32 crash

JEFFERSON CITY – A 51-year-old Ste. Genevieve man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle traffic crash on Sunday, September 8th on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County.

 

According to the accident report prepared by Missouri State Highway Patrol Msgt. W B. Sevier, Royal J. King was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

 

The report indicates the crash happened when a westbound 2013 Ford Fusion driven by King collided with an eastbound 2012 Ford Fusion driven by 18-year-old Mark A Johnson of Barnhart who attempted to make a left turn from 32 onto Route O. King’s Fusion struck the right rear side of Johnson’s Fusion.

Johnson was uninjured in the crash. Both drivers were reported to be buckled up.

 

The crash was reported to have happened about 6:57 p.m.

 

Both vehicles were reported to have moderate damage and were towed from the scene by Ste. Genevieve County Towing.
