Laurie was a child of God with a hippy soul who loved to rock and roll. She was the “cool mom” who didn’t mind a house full of kids and loved music. She was a devoted mother who loved Amy and Matt unconditionally and taught them the same. She was giving and empathetic and her door was always open to anyone who needed a bite to eat or a place to stay.

She loved to be around family and friends, especially the kiddos. She cherished being a grandma and would sing with Jazzy and make up songs for her. She loved all animals, but her favorites were big dogs. She enjoyed living in the country and watching the birds, squirrels and deer play.

Laurie was an intelligent woman with a passion for reading and technology. If her nose wasn’t in a book, it was on the computer. She is now reunited with her beloved son, dancing on the streets of gold and rocking out to the most beautiful music imaginable.
