Senator Schmitt Celebrates Missouri Athletes Competing in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games

WASHINGTON – Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt has sent a celebratory letter to athletes from across Missouri who will be representing the United States in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games:

“The Paralympic Games are a great chance for us to show off the best that Missouri has to offer, and it makes me incredibly proud to know that three talented Missourians will be competing in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Each athlete, as well as their family, friends, and community should feel an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment in the honor of representing not only Missouri but also America on the world stage. I wish them all the very best in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games,” said Senator Eric Schmitt. 

There are three 2024 Paralympians from Missouri who are competing in this year’s games:

Colleen Young | St. Louis, Missouri | Women’s Para Swimming

Rachel Watts | St. Joseph, Missouri | Women’s Paratriathlon 

Spencer Seggebruch | St. Louis, Missouri | Men’s Para Cycling
