JEFFERSON CITY – A 48-year-old Farmington man was seriously injured in a traffic crash on Trogden Road in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Jerad C. Skaggs was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by Air Evac 8.
MSHP Trooper J.R. Tombaugh wrote in his report that the crash happened when the 2001 Chevrolet 1500 Skaggs was driving north on Trogden Road “traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.”
The trooper also stated Skaggs was buckled up.
His report stated the Chevrolet was a total loss and was removed by Buckley’s Towing.
The report said the crash happened at 8:10 a.m. north of Mo 32.
