PERRYVILLE — Congratulations to Sofia Buerck, a student at Perryville High School, who won the Department of Missouri, Class V Poppy Poster Contest at the state level.

She was presented the award and a check for $25 by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 133, Americanism chair, Kathy Cissell.
Sofia’s poster will be submitted for competition at the American Legion Auxiliary National Convention to be held August 23 – 29, 2024 in New Orleans, LA.
