CAPE GIRARDEAU – U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. on Thursday sentenced a 43-year-old Charleston, Mo. man who sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant to 10 years in prison.
Adrian L. Lewis pleaded guilty in May to one count of distribution of methamphetamine. He admitted selling two ounces of meth to a confidential informant working for the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force on Oct. 10, 2023.
Lewis was deemed a “career offender” due to prior drug offenses.
The Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Julie Hunter is prosecuting the case.
