PERRYVILLE – Bill Wengert, American Legion Post 133 member, was presented with a handmade, red/white/blue quilt in recognition and gratitude for his many years of serving our Veterans at the monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Bill and his wife, Norma, visited the nursing home in Perryville, MO and the Veterans Home in Jackson, MO every month for the past 22 years.
Bill plays music and Norma organizes bingo to entertain the Veterans.
Bill and Norma also organized and delivered Christmas packages to the Veterans at various nursing homes in the area.
Thanks to Bill for his dedicated service to our Veterans.
