SGC hosts ‘Mini Golf at the Library’

STE. GENEVIEVE – Fore!

On Wednesday, August 13th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Ste. Genevieve County Library will be teeing up a day of fun and adventure as we transform the library into an exciting 18-hole Mini Golf Course!

Get ready to putt your way through the stacks and navigate around bookish obstacles in this one-of-a-kind event hosted by the Friends of Ste. Genevieve County Library.

This special event is free and open to all ages!

“Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time putter, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun.” Stated Shawn Long Library Director. While donations are appreciated; they are not required. All contributions will support future library programs and services, ensuring that Ste. Genevieve County Library remains a cornerstone of our community.

From the Children’s Section sand trap to the Biography Bunker, our unique course offers a delightful mix of challenging and whimsical holes. Test your skills, enjoy some friendly competition, and see the library in a whole new way. And don’t forget to visit our themed photo booth to capture your best golf poses!

This is the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and book lovers to come together for a day of laughter and creativity. Whether you’re playing through the course, spectating, or just stopping by to enjoy the lively atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

Mark your calendars and join us at the Ste. Genevieve County Library for a day of unforgettable fun. Who knew books and golf could make such a perfect pair?
