Illinois Lottery player wins $1 Million in Mega Millions online

CHICAGO – An Illinois iLottery player won $1 million playing Mega Millions online.

The winning online player matched all five numbers in the Tuesday night drawing to score the $1 million prize. The winning numbers were 19-23-30-33-50.

A player in Texas also won a $1 million prize in the July 30 Mega Millions drawing.

More than 24,000 winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Illinois for the Tuesday, July 30 drawing.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night, August 2, at 10:00 p.m. (CT). The jackpot is at an estimated $358 million.

Winners have one year from the date of the winning draw to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to write their name on the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they’re ready to claim their prize.

Mega Millions tickets are $2 each, and players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes.

Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app. For more information or to buy tickets online, please visit IllinoisLottery.com.

And remember, Mega Millions is a game of chance. Knowing the rules and odds of the games you play is an important part of responsible gaming. To learn more, visit the responsible gaming page on the Illinois Lottery website.
