SHILOH, Ill.— The St. Clair County Village of Shiloh, Illinois, in partnership with Freedom Sings USA, is proud to present the Veterans Songwriting Retreat. This special event, dedicated to Shiloh/St. Clair County area Veterans and military families, will take place at the Veteran Music Hall in Shiloh on August 9th and 10th.

The retreat will feature private songwriting sessions for Veterans on Friday evening (August 9) and Saturday morning (August 10). These sessions will be led by top Nashville hit-makers, offering a unique opportunity for Veterans to express their experiences and stories through music.
On Saturday evening, a free concert showcasing the songs created by Veterans during the retreat will be held. The event will start at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. Performances will include hits from Don Goodman, Bill Whyte, Steve Dean, Wil Nance, and Bill Diluigi, along with special guests, regional favorites “The Twilight Band.”
