A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 for 89-year-old Perry Albert Davis, Jr. of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his residence.
He was born December 11, 1934 in Hillsboro, Mo. to Perry Albert and Fannie (Wofford) Davis who both preceded him in death.
Perry and Brenda Mae Hicks were married February 14, 1964. She preceded him in death.
He was a farmer. Perry enjoyed the outdoors, driving his tractor, fishing, bird watching, horseback riding and his cats.
Survivors include two sons: Perry Christopher (Alissa) Davis, Benjamin Matthew (Robyn) Davis; two daughters: Belinda Kaye Lorenz, Beverly Gaye (Michael) Rayoum; brother: Herbert Davis; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law: Nelson Lorenz; two half-brothers: Ray Anderson and Clyde Anderson; four sisters: Ida Mae Davis, Pearlene House, Yvetta McClelland, and Gladys Vernon.
A memorial service for 89-year-old Perry Albert Davis, Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Saline Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Saline Baptist Church.
