Daniel Louveau

A funeral will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 for 53-year-old Daniel Louveau of Preston, Illinois, who passed away at 11:30 pm, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Illinois.


He was born October 26, 1970 in Red Bud, Illinois, a son of Albert and Janet (nee Word) Louveau, who both preceded him in death.


Daniel married Bobbie Martindale June 11, 2005 at Preston Methodist Church, Preston, Illinois; she survives in Preston, Illinois.

 

He is also survived by a stepson: Dale “Tony” (Catrena) Heck, Jr. of Walsh, Ill.; six siblings: Michael Louveau of Chester, Ill., Martha (Keith) Kempf of Chester, Ill., Patrick Louveau of Perryville, Mo.,

Bridget Sterling of Perryville, Mo., Benjamin Louveau of Chester, Ill.; and Christopher (Barbara) Louveau of St. Mary, Mo.; three grandchildren: Derek, Evlyn and Elaina Heck; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.


He was also preceded in death by a niece: Jessica Louveau.


He was an iron worker for 20 years. Before that he was a commercial carpet layer.


Daniel was a member of Preston Methodist Church in Preston. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and mushroom hunting. Family was everything to Daniel and he loved spending time with them.

 

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, Ill.


A funeral for 53-year-old Daniel Louveau of Preston, Ill. will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024

at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, Ill. Pastor Jeremy Volkmar will officiate.

 

Interment will be in the Baldwin City Cemetery, Baldwin, Illinois.
