Visitation will be Thursday for 85-year-old Lester Lalumondier of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
He was born August 3, 1938 in River Aux Vase, Mo., a son of Wilfred Lalumondier and Myrtle (Kreitler) Lalumondier, who both preceded him in death.
He married Arneda (Zerwig) Lalumondier November 14, 1959. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by three daughters: Deborah Lalumondier of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Cheryl (Salvador) Ramos of Plainfield, Ind., and Pamela (Michael) Donze of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a son: Terry (Wanda) Lalumondier of De Soto, Mo.; a brother: Jim (Jeannie) Lalumondiere of House Springs, Mo.; grandchildren: Krystal, Zachary, Miranda, Anna, Rachel, and Amber.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Wanda (Larry) Herzog.
Lester was a member of the Lost Acres Tractor Club, enjoyed farming and his John Deere tractors.
He loved his wife and having his family around, sitting at the pond, and going on tractor rides.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
