STE. GENEVIEVE — The owner of a local business is reporting a thief struck his business, Flieg’s Equipment on Route 32, around 9:30 p.m. Monday night.

Wyatt Flieg said the thief cut the lock on their gate and stole $30,000 worth of mowers along with a GMC truck and trailer.
He said it happened around 9:30 p.m. at Fliegs Equipment in Ste. Genevieve.
“It upset us a little bit that some one would do this to our small business when we try so hard to help our community and the people in it. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you.”
He asked for help from the community. “If you have any info on this GMC vehicle and trailer or see these mowers for sale please let us know. The missing items include a brand new Hustler Super Z with EFI, a used Hustler Fastrak 48, and a new Hustler Dash XD 48.
