CHESTER – Chester Parks and Recreation Committee to welcome River City Rock Out 2024 to Cole Memorial Park, Saturday, July 27.
The inaugural River City Rock Out is brought to you by the City of Chester and the Chester Parks and Recreation Committee. The day will consist of a Summer Splash event, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Our Summer Splash will feature 4+ water slides, 1-20 foot slide, a tropical slip ‘n slide, bounce houses and foam! Food and beverage vendors will be on hand.
Take part in a wine tasting. Sample exclusive wines from around the world presented by Eric Winters, Certified Specialist of Wine with PRP Wine International.
Beginning at noon enjoy a variety of music genres. Chester Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce our stage line-up for this event.
Back by request, Number 9 Coal Band. The guys will kick-off the concert with bluegrass, folk, Americana and some old time country, 12-3 p.m.
Ian Ferguson is up next, 4-7 p.m. Ian is a singer/songwriter and Nashville recording artist. The Ian Ferguson Band will make their debut at this year’s River City Rock Out. You won’t want to miss this premier performance.
Voted Best Cover Band in 2020- the Ultimate 80’s Rock Party – Top GunZ takes the stage, 8 p.m.-12 a.m. Get ready for a performance that will send you right back to the 80’s! Enjoy popular songs written by: Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, Journey, Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, Metallica and many more!
Cole Memorial Park will be closed to through traffic and visitors for this special event. No animals will be allowed at the event.
Tickets are available at city hall during normal business hours and will be available, at the entrance to the park, Saturday, July 27, beginning at 10 a.m.
Children (15 and under) $5 each and adults are $10 each. So, call your friends and come out for a day full of fun!
