STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve City Hall had two major announcements late Monday morning:
It reported Market Street will be closed to through traffic between 7th and 8th Streets today from 8 – 8:30 a.m. while Alliance is repairing a service line leak.
It also reported the flood gates were not closed Sunday as had been planned. That’s because the foercast crest of the Mississippi River is expected to be 3.5 feet less than earlier forecast.
