JEFFERSON CITY – A 61-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman received minor injuries in a traffic crash on Route 32 in Ste. Genvieve County Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Gail A. Kreitler was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Both drivers were buckled up.
The patrol says the crash happened when a westbound 2001 Honda CRV driven by Kreitler slowed to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a westbound 2011 Ford Focus driven by 57-year-old Gary P. Klein of Ste. Genevieve. He was not hurt. After the impact the Honda began to skid, rotated counter clockwise and traveled off the left side of the road.
The Honda had minor damage and was driven from the scene. The Ford had moderate damage and was left roadside.
The crash happened about 12:40 p.m., in the 20000 block of Highway 32.
