JEFFERSON CITY – A 62-year-old St. Louis man received minor injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon on Highway 51 in Perry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Todd A. Williams was taken to Mercy Hospital Perry by a Mercy ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when Williams was traveling south on Highway 51 and his motorcycle’s rear tire blew out causing him to lose control. The Kawasaki overturned and crossed the center line, coming to rest facing west.
The crash happened about 3:48 p.m. south of Perry County Road 712.
The motorcycle had moderate damage and was removed by Ives Towing.
