A private graveside service will be held for 61-year-old Jill A. Bollinger of Chester, Ill., who passed away at 6:06 a.m., Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her residence.
She was born August 17, 1962 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. a daughter to Charles and Hazel (nee Clark) Skinner, who both preceded her in death.
Jill married Scott Bollinger January 14, 1989 at St. John United Church of Christ, Evansville, Illinois; he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter: Katherine Bollinger of Chester, Ill., a brother: Charles Alan Skinner of Norman, Okla.; a sister in law: Jennifer Surman of Ellis Grove, Ill.; a brother-in-law: Daniel Bollinger of Ellis Grove, Ill.; six nieces and nephews: Deanna Bollinger, Reed Skinner, Leighton Skinner, Brandt Skinner, Amaya Skinner, and Rylee Skinner.
She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Jeff Surman, and her father-in-law: Glenn Bollinger.
She had worked at Three Springs Nursing Home, Gilster Mary-Lee, and Spartan Light Metal in Sparta
Jill was of the Catholic Faith.
She had been a member of the Sparta Eagles Aerie No. 3059.
She enjoyed going to bingo and loved to go fishing.
