A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 for 98-year-old Helen L. Clendenin of Chester, Ill., who passed away at 1:33 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Ill.
She was born October 4, 1925 in Randolph County, Ill. a daughter to Frank and Elda (nee Misselhorn) Draves.
Helen married Harold “Pud” Clendenin March 20, 1948 in Chester, Ill.; he preceded her in death on May 30, 2012.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Arvel Draves and a sister: Viola Mehrer.
She was a homemaker.
Helen was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Chester and enjoyed playing bingo.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois.
