A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 for 52-year-old Karen D. Bowman of Chester, Ill., who passed away at 1:12 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born August 24, 1971 a daughter of Darell and Lola (nee Blair) Seibold, Sr. in Chester, Illinois, who both preceded her in death.
Karen married Bobby Bowman on September 30, 2023; he survives.
She is also survived by two children: Justin (Brooke) Stehl of Carbondale, Ill. and Alyssa Stehl of Chester, Ill.; an aunt: Debbie (Ron) Jones of Blue Eye, Mo.; eight siblings: Lisa (David) Tindall of Ellis Grove, Ill., Sarah (Brian) Beam of Chester, Ill., Shelly Gonzalez of New Athens, Ill., Rebecca (Daniel) Hahn of Modoc, Ill., Daniel Seibold of Modoc, Ill., Christopher (Denise) Seibold of Red Bud, Ill.,
Darell (Dawn) Seibold, Jr. of Sparta, Ill. and Shawn (Mike) DeRousse of Red Bud, Ill., a friend: Kristy Petelle and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister: Julie Seibold.
She was a housekeeper for The Manor at Craig Farms in Chester, Illinois.
Karen attended First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove.
She enjoyed shooting, hunting and fishing.
Karen also loved the beach and going to St. Louis Cardinal games.
It was Karen’s wish to be cremated.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday June 15, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, Ill.

Memorial donations in Karen’s honor may be made to her husband Bobby Bowman for a college fund for her daughter Alyssa Stehl and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
