SIKESTON – The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to replace three bridges in Perry County.
The bridges to be replaced include:
The Route T bridge over Saline Creek, located between Route CC and Woodridge Lane.
The Route K bridge over Apple Creek, located between Route O and County Road 616.
The Route C bridge over Apple Creek, located between County Road 458 and Anemone Lane.
Work to replace the bridges could begin as early as summer 2025.
Construction of the Route T bridge over Saline Creek will be staged to allow the roadway to remain open as work is underway. Short-term closures are anticipated during traffic shifts and as beams are set.
The roadway will be closed in the vicinity of the Route K and Route C bridges over Apple Creek for approximately three months during construction.
Maps, plans, and other information prepared by MoDOT will be available for public inspection and copying at MoDOT’s Sikeston District office, 2675 N. Main St. in Sikeston, Missouri. Any person affected by these projects may request that a public meeting be held in regard to the proposed improvements.
