Curtis Wayne Lohmann

A special time to share stories of 70-year-old Curtis Wayne Lohmann of Perryville, Mo. will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

 

He passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Perry in Perryville, Mo.

 

He was born July 2, 1953, a son of Olivia Lohmann and Edmund Lohmann who both preceded him in death.

 

He married Karen Lohmann, who survives in Marble Hill.

 

He is also survived by two daughters: Lana Deere of Perryville, Mo. and Carol McClanahand; a son: Tyler Lunsford; a brother: Roy Lohmann; grandchildren: Stephanie Lunsford, Destiny, Emily, Randall and Jayden Pulley, Hope Deere, Jazzamine (Kevin) Taylor, Austin, Laccee and Deamin McClanahand, Renee and Waylne Henderson, Tyler Lunsford II; two bonus grandkids: Raina and Dwyitte Manche and a good friend: Wanda Ochs; great-grandchildren: Lilliana Choate, Charlee Zimmerle, Alexandra, Amara Taylor and baby Taylor due in December 2024.

 

He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Mary A Etzold and Doris Bingenieimer.

 

Curtis was a member of Perryville Eagles Post 4034 and worked at the shooting matches for 30-plus years.

 

He loved fishing, coloring, going for drives, telling tall stories, spending time with family and friends.

 

Curtis was very loved and will be dearly missed by many.

 

There will be a special time to share stories beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. followed by a visitation until 8 p.m.
