A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date for 66-year-old Chris Bolius of Ste. Genevieve, who passed away May 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born February 13, 1958, in Miami, Florida, a son of Edwin Bolius and Sabra (White) Rothrock.
He married Loris (Wills) Bolius. She survives.
Chris is also survived by three children: Meghan (Vince) Lollar, Christine (Joe Jackson) Bolius and Christopher Blake Bolius II; eight grandchildren: Bentley Lollar, Kamille Beasley, Eric Webb, TaTeanna Jackson, Ky’Onna Pierce, Xavier Pierce, Joe Jackson, Jr. and DaVaughn Jackson; three sisters: Sabra Louise McElveen, Jennifer Bolius and Carmen (Sean) Andrews; a brother: Tripp Bolius; his mother in-law: Margie Wills; his brother in-law: Les Wills; a nephew: Kurtis Wills; a great niece: Abigayle McElveen; along with other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Edwin Bolius; his father in-law: Jerry Wills and his stepdad: James Rothrock.
Chris enjoyed his outdoor activities, such as fishing, hunting and riding side-by-sides, but most of all, Chris loved spending time with his family.
He was a long-time employee of the City of Park Hills.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at a future date.
