CHESTER – Five Chester Yellow Jackets participated in the state track and field meet last weekend.
Gabe Coffman came in 21st (2:03.37) in the prelims heat No. 1 in the 800 meter run.
Coffman also participated in the 4×400 relay along with Gabe Steele, Cayden Brunkhorst, and Garrett Hopkins. The relay team came in 37th (3:55.01) in the first heat in the prelims.
Lannin Carron came in 25th (10-6) in the first heat of the prelims.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville track and field athletes competed in four events: Ellie Gerler 13th in the shot put and 10th in the discus, Ben Huber placed 12th in the discus and Katie Farrow was 13th in the pole vault.

PERRYVILLE –The district champion Perryville Lady Pirates lost to Whitfield 2-0 in a Class 2 quarterfinal round game Saturday.
