Roger Earl Vernon, 72, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at his residence.
He was born August 13, 1951 in Perryville, MO to Earl William and Gladys Marie (Davis) Vernon.
Roger and Norma Jane Blessing were married October 22, 1983 at Good Shepard Baptist Church in Perryville, MO.
He served in the United States Army.
Roger was a forklift driver for Gilster MaryLee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood working.
Roger was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two sons, Kyle (Brandie) Vernon, Ryan Vernon; daughter, Kelsey Vernon; brother, Verlin Vernon; four sisters, June Donze, Sandy (Lee) Schwartz, Becky (Terry) Niccum, Sheryl (Jim) Hagar; one grandchild, Sarah Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eddie Vernon; brother-in-law, Paul Donze.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, MO.
A committal service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, May 23 at Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with Bro. Ed Carter officiating.
