Bloomsdale Elementary holds annual kindergarten celebration

STE. GENEVIEVE – Once again, Bloomsdale Elementary School joyfully held its annual kindergarten celebration at the Performing Arts Center on the Ste. Genevieve campus.

The anticipation was palpable as the students prepared to showcase their do-see-do skills and vocal talents in this year’s rendition of E-I-E-I OOPS, the Musical.

Under the guidance of music teacher Dillon Friedmeyer, the performance featured beloved tunes like E-I-E-I OOPS!, Cute Chicks, Ham It Up, and The Whole Barnyard Is Singin.’ In addition to these musical highlights, the evening featured an entertaining skit involving the barnyard animals rallying together to solve the mystery of the silent cow.

The evening was especially bittersweet, as this was Marcia Nelson’s last kindergarten concert before retiring at the end of this school year. Mrs. Nelson has spearheaded the square dancing performance for approximately 25 years. She will be greatly missed, and students and staff wish her the best in her retirement!

It was a pleasure for teachers and families alike to come together and celebrate these remarkable students and their outstanding performance. Congratulations once again to our budding stars!
