JOPLIN – St. Vincent Golf Coach Bruce Valleroy is reporting final results after day two of the Class 1. State Golf Championship at Joplin.

St. Vincent shot a  343 team score of 343 Tuesday.

 

Scores

 

Payton Strattman had a 74 and first place overall at the tournament.

 

The is the best finish ever for a St. Vincent golfer.

 

Other scores:

 

Sam Koishor, 82, 17th Overall at State

 

Adam Brickhaus, 91, tied for 49th at State

 

Garrett Brickhaus, 99, tied for 64th at State

 

Logan Hornberger, 96, tied for 76th at State.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic’s Sam Kuehn and Colton Kuehn participated in the Class 1 state golf tournament.

 

Sam had an 86 on the first day and a 90 on second day for a two-day 176 which was good for 30th place.

 

Colton had a 95 the first day and a 97 the second day for a two-day 192 which was good for 70th place.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s Aiden Roth played in the Class 3 state tournament at the Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.

 

He had a 102 the first day and 111 for the second day and a two-day total of 213 which was good for 90th place

 

Baseball

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – The second semi-final game of the Class 4 District 2 Baseball Tournament was canceled Monday just after the first semi-final was completed.

 

Ste. Genevieve High School will host the postponed semi-final game vs. Bayless today at 3 p.m. at Yank’s Field.

 

The winner will play in the championship game at 5 p.m. vs. Park Hills Central. Also at Yanks’ Field.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Valle Warriors have the top seed in Class 3 District 3.

 

The Warriors beat Arcadia Valley 12-0. V

 

alle will play the winner of today’s 1:30 p.m. game between second seed West County and third seed Jefferson at 3:30 p.m. today at West County.

 

Soccer

 

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent lost to Cape Central 2-1 in overtime in the Class 3 District 1 Tournament at Cape Central. The Lady Indians end their season at 11-9.

 

PERRYVILLE – Perryville has the top seed in the Class 2 District 1 tournament in St. Louis.  The Lady Pirates play in the district championship game with second seed St. Pius today at 5 p.m.

Track and Field

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic High School is sending the following student athletes to the Class 2 State meet in Jefferson City this weekend.
